GLP-1 Muscle Protection Calculator

GLP-1 Muscle Protection Calculator

Two measurements the bathroom scale can't give you: how fast you're losing, and whether your legs are keeping up. Everything stays on your device; nothing is saved or sent anywhere.

Muscle Protection Report, prepared

Part 1: The Rate-of-Loss Ledger

Speed is the variable almost nobody watches. The faster weight comes off, the larger the share of it that comes off as muscle and bone.

Part 2: The 30-Second Chair Stand Test

Sit in a firm chair, feet flat, arms crossed over your chest. Stand fully and sit back down as many times as you can in 30 seconds. Count each full stand. Do it beside a counter in case you feel unsteady, and skip it entirely if you have leg or back pain that makes standing risky.

What to do with these two numbers

Educational information only, not medical advice, and no doctor-patient relationship is created by using this page. Nothing here is a reason to stop or change a prescribed medication. The lean-mass estimate is exactly that, an estimate drawn from published body-composition studies of rapid weight loss, not a measurement of your body; only a DEXA or similar scan measures your actual muscle. Stop the chair stand test if you feel dizzy, short of breath, or have chest or leg pain, and skip it if standing is unsafe for you. From The Doctor Teacher.
